RTGC x Republic Services- $125,000 For Park Improvements at Tom Hunter Park in Hidden valley

Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte is proud to announce that we’ve received a National Neighborhood Promise grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation to support our project at Tom Hunter Park in the Hidden Valley neighborhood.

With guidance from community residents and the Hidden Valley Community Reinvestment Plan, Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte will revitalize Tom Hunter Park, the only developed neighborhood park in the community. The park improvements will include a new covered pavilion, walking trail restoration, pollinator garden, and new park benches and picnic tables.

We are excited to receive this grant and look forward to launching this project in partnership with Republic Services and working with Hidden Valley leaders and community residents.
